Superday coming up with a concussion - can I ask to reschedule?
This is a stupid fucking situation, but I recently got a concussion from a game of pick up soccer with some friends and I don't feel ready at all to go into a grueling Superday and nail all my technicals. If I ask for a different date will I be dinged? This is for a bank that has already gone through pretty much most of its recruiting and only has like 1-2 Superdays left.
Ask HR if there is a later alternate date for a superday. If there is not, then you are out of luck.
They usually give out offers to candidates that same day after a superday, so they could run out of spots if they found everyone that they are looking for in the initial superday.
It would be risky to be asking to be placed in a future super day. I would at least ask them if you can have ur super day later in the week. For example, if it is on Wednesday, ask them if you can have it on Friday
Of course you can, especially with a legitimate request. Note though, that while you won't get "dinged", superdays are usually rolling and they might just fill up the spot with someone they like before even having met you.
