Superday Response Time

Hey guys, I recently just had a Super day for a 2021 ER internship (posted this in the ER forum too but not as active) and was wondering what the time frame to hear back from these typically are. This one was last Friday and so I am not sure if I am just not hearing back because of the weekend or because I was not chosen. I feel like the interviews went really well so I am a bit anxious waiting and not hearing back now for a couple of days. Any insight into this (the interview was at a midwest MM) would be appreciated. It is worth noting that there was about a one week period between my first round phone interview and the invitation to the Superday.

If it's not a Friday, then you will always hear back day of or next day if it's good news. On Friday, you will hear back Monday for an offer.

Totally depends on the place and the interview schedule. It's pretty common for them to give some offers immediately after (either day of or next day) if it's clear from the interview they want to hire you. However, if they're doing a lot of interviews (ie three days in a row with superdays) it is also pretty common they won't make all offers until after all the superdays so they can see who you're competing against. I'd say longer than a week is probably bad news and means you are essentially waitlisted.

Also I know most of what’s on here is for IB- are ER Superdays generally the same timeframe or do they usually have a different time frame for responding? I know ER is a much more niche field with less applicants and less positions available so does this cause them to take more time weeding people out and discussing after the Superdays?

Had a super day for an EB this past Friday morning, and got the offer ~6 PM
