TD Investment Banking - ESG Solutions Group

Hi everyone, I’m hoping to get some insight on TD’s ESG Solutions group within Investment Banking. ESG feels like it’s everywhere these days, often just an extra part of compliance or a requirement in investment memos. But I’m curious if this team at TD actually gets deeper into the deals or if it’s mostly there to tick boxes.

Specifically, how’s the deal flow? Are they mostly advising on larger institutional clients, or is there a mix that includes mid-market or newer sectors? Also wondering about the culture—are they hands-on and client-focused, or is it more reporting-heavy?

I understand ESG can be more of a signal for big investors, but I’d still like to know if this group at TD has a more active role. Any info on the team dynamic or work-life balance would be really appreciated! Thanks!

I’ve never heard of this group, sounds like a tick box checker lol
