The GE Split Up
It may be a dumb question but which group of Investment Bankers Unmerges companies. Would it be a mix between ECM and the M&A team. I haven't heard of any spinoff product group at JPM lol.

im just really glad my group isnt mandated on this. sounds like a nightmare. 100% bet those junior bankers on this deal team will hate their lives and not have a day off until this is complete

Spinoffs are usually handled by M&A. ECM won't have a part in this transaction other than some high-level senior input on a call.
