This is Ridiculous Part II
Okay after one long week I log back on this website and what do I find, my original post 'This is Ridiculous' has been deleted! I ask you WallStreetOasis, why why why???? Is it because I upheld the truth, that the guy who interviewed me was biased towards one dumb chick just because he was in love with her ass? Or is it because I called a whore a whore? I say to you guys all over again, be a fair judge of talent, and do not let your unjust biases hinder the decision making process. Be fair!
kys
agree i don't agree when mods delete threads
Who are you to say you are the better candidate? Do you even know the girl? Let it go, you're supposed to be a big boy now.
Actually, I disagree, it's pretty easy to tell who is a better candidate. You are an idiot if you think looks are not a factor in interviews, I got straight up told I was dinged only due to my hair.
yes dude I know the girl very well. we went to the same high school in fact
I don't think that at all. I am sure I would be more willing to hire a pretty girl over anyone haha. I am just curious how this guy is making the call that he was unfairly tossed out.
What do you do to your hair to draw that much attention. Ace Ventura style?
If I could have things my way, going to work would be like visiting Castle Anthrax in Monty Python And The Holy Grail where there are nothing but beautiful women everyone. Anyone who knows what I am talking about will agree that'd be awesome.
lol i kno what you meant and i agree just needed to increase my post count 3
my hair was medium in length where it was over my ears and over my eyes a little bit with blond high-lights in front due to the sun
I hate to say this, but kid, your post deserved to be taken down the moment you put it up. I don't know what Mod took it down, but whoever it was, I salute them.
And no, you didn't uphold the truth. You got dinged and refuse to accept that it very well could have been your own damned fault behind getting dinged. And no, there is no such thing as fairness. Why would I give you a fair shot when it doesn't suit me to? Nothing in life is fair, and neither should the decision to be fair in what people look for in selecting candidates.
u are exactly the kind of guy I am talking about. the guy who interviewed me was a loser, and so are u. I already have a job offer so at the end of the day I dont care that much, but at least I can say I have been fair with everyone I dealt with.
(1) you seem like a reject and need to let it go (2) out of curiousity, what did it say that was so bad? I didn't get to see it
IP, basically, he said the following: 1) I didn't get the job because some girl got it. 2) She was completely unqualified and I was the clear superior candidate 3) The interviewer was a biased piece of shit who made his decision like an idiot and didn't choose me. 4) Whenever you interview, give people a fair shot based on talent only.
There's a word for people like you....pussies.
It was taken down?
Yet again, you prove the interviewer made the right call.
just the way God made the right call by giving u no dick
I'm sure you're too immature to understand why everyone is saying this, but you're embarrassing yourself. There are a lot of people who get beat out of a job during the interview process, and most of them feel like they were the better candidate for one reason or another. Unlike you, those people realize that for one reason or another they did get beat. I can tell you from experience that the majority of IB people won't hire a girl because she's attractive because they would prefer to have someone intelligent working under them that will make their life easier. You got beat and that's embarrassing, but it's not as embarrassing as coming on here and making yourself look like an idiot. I'm sure you'll comment on this with something that will make you look even more pathetic, so thanks in advance for reinforcing my point.
yes, u are an idiot. thanks for reinforcing my point
aaaaaaaaaand there it is. Thanks again for solidifying that. By the way, you got beat by a girl.
If I see the word "fair" one more time, I am going to throw up. Life isn't 'fair" and most people learned that well before getting to the point of interviewing for a job. Successful people quit worrying about "fair" and do what they need to do to succeed regardless of what's "fair."
Shit...I just typed "fair" five times.
fair enough, but its not wrong to say the interviewer 'should' have been fair in the decision making process. I know you think life is not fair and all that, but I will not do the same thing when it is my time to interview others. Do what u guys wanna do, but I will be fair.
Fair is for faggots and people on welfare. Sack up.
Happy,
So you think the OP flips out when he gets beaten by 10 year old Asian girls in Modern Warfare 3?
The interview process is a chance for the firm to get to know you - and if they like what is presented to them, they'll hire you.
There's nothing "fair" about the process. You're not "owed" a job simply because you were the most talented, or the "best". The bottom line is that the firm preferred someone else over you - get over yourself, stop crying and just move on.
Keep in mind that the chances are that the interviewers who interviewed you and the other candidates would be working with whoever they decided to hire for the next 1-2 years. If you're going to be stuck with someone in an office for 12-16 hours a day, 5-7 days a week, it would be understandable if you picked the better looking person with a sense of humour with the 3.8 GPA over the 4.0 GPA gun who whinges and cries like a baby when things don't go his way.
Wait...how nice was her ass?
