Thoughts on Kevin Warsh?
How did Kevin Warsh go from Executive Director in MS M&A to immediately become a Presidential Advisor? He has an interesting background but this jump seems quite large. Seems like he went in as an Associate at 25, to VP, and fast tracked to ED, and then immediately to Special Advisor to the President on Economic Policy, and by the time he turned 35, he was on the Federal Reserve Board of Governors. Given how many ED's and up are working in M&A (and at similar EB's/BBs), I am wondering how and why he was selected out of everyone for that.
Anyone have insights?
His wife is the heiress of Estee Lauder and her father served as the Ambassador to Austria, as well as being the president of some global jewish organization. FYI, google has all the answers for most of these questions.
A whole lotta gluck gluck. Kinda like that grocery store clerk turned anti-terror guy
