Thoughts on Lazard -> KKR -> M7 -> Carlyle -> Partner -> Die

Its an interesting sentiment, that the human ego is so powerful it was able to formulate an optimal and structured route for a human being to traverse from birth to death. It makes me wonder what exactly else there is to a human life that traverses this route other than work, studying, interviews and sleep. To any of you on this forum that are currently on routes similar to this, how would you characterize yourself? It is a noble deed for your ego to have so much control over yourself that you are able to repress any impulses that would cause you to divergence from this path in order to reap that quite substantial rewards, and I also wanted to take this opportunity to applaud you.
