From someone who is a first year analyst there (not me but my buddy) it is a sweatshop but pay is good.

 

I can assure you that it is squarely within the hours range of the notorious "sweatshop" groups frequently mentioned on this website. They are a very active and growing boutique in the P&U space which is a sector everyone knows to be pretty brutal in general. They pitch a lot but are also consistently winning mandates (they will also never turn down a mandate).

 

I’ve heard from one of my analyst friends there it’s very sweaty but I’m sure pay is good. What’s interesting about PEI is that it started in the last few years (I wanna say 2021) and they always have a lot of junior retention and have scaled the business quite well.
