Have only heard bad things about the group when I worked in Houston.
Doesn’t look like they’re on any major deals.
They aren’t on ‘major’ deals because they mostly focus on OFS which is predominately middle market activity. They do get on larger stuff in that space though.
Interesting you’ve heard bad things, I only know a handful of people there but they are pretty personable and not super hardo. Can’t speak to hours and specifics etc

High deal volume when I was there, which made things a bit sweaty. OFS proved to be a good coverage group for generalist PE recruiting, since most shops viewed it as an industrials group and less so O&G/upstream.
