Tips for RX coffee chats?

For people in RX or who've recruited for it, what makes a coffee chat stand out, and what's different about it from M&A/BB networking? How difficult is it to get interviews if conversations are more generic? What are good topics or questions to bring up, and what are some mistakes to avoid?

Also curious about best practices for following up afterward.

Thanks!
