To all of you in a front/middle office position...

Should I pursue a position in finance like ib, pe, hf or should I look into tech (swe, pm)? Is finance too stressful/ too long of hours?
Money motivates me. There is nothing I want to do for the rest of my life so I might as well make a lot of money doing something I don’t like.

If you're only interested in money, then go into finance instead of tech. You have to be interested in tech if you want to make money in it, whereas in finance you just have to do the job (of course the hours suck though)
