I got an email from a pretty random search firm called Torana Search Partners. Are they legit and has anyone here ever worked with them? If so, what firms are their clients?

Was also contacted - havnt heard of them before. I asked for a client list and they said they couldn’t provide one pre on-cycle.. they noted they’re making a ‘first pool’ of candidates, so assuming they’re new. Read the website & it seems to be a transfer portal of kinds. Was given a link to make a profile & just dropped my resume.
Does making a profile give you access to apply to various opportunities? If so what are the ops?

I was also contacted. I learned more ab Torana/TSP, so figured I’d share. I also read their site and spoke to one of their reps. They are a new player trying to disrupt on-cycle by ‘circumventing’ current HHs. The TSP site says ‘banking to buy-side’ so it seems they’re focused on something like PE Associate placement. I was also provided a link to create a profile the rep noted will be ‘showcased’ to firms in the coming weeks (including TA associates). Assuming getting looks from these firms positions you for an interview like the standard HH process.
