Toronto SA27 recruitment so far

Curious about everyone else's opinion on how Toronto summer 2027 IB recruitment has been so far, especially compared to past cycles (if anyone has gone through multiple, or is on the recruitment side). 

Given the increased competition from many students shifting away from recruiting state-side, and those re-recruiting since they aren't getting a return this summer, was there a visible rise in the bar for getting an interview / technical readiness in the interview / connections at the firm / etc.?

(As of Feb 27th) From what I've heard, most globals, Scotia, CIBC, and most of the BMO class, are already filled.
