You’re probably not getting a buy-side job from banks of this caliber. There are countless biotech / pharma bankers at bulge bracket and boutiques to choose from, the best part of going to a place like Torreya is you have a good “why healthcare banking” answer when lateraling to one. Healthcare is an area of growth so a lot of places are actively looking for new people, and having a good “why” answer is all the more helpful.
I'm sorry but the above commenter has it all wrong. Please PM me for some more info if you want a perspective from someone who actually has some experience with the bank. Not some dude who works in ECM who probably has no idea about the space.
