Training programs for FT analysts
Hey, I was wondering if anyone knew much about how the banks (especially BBs, GS, MS, JPM, UBS, CS etc) run their FT analyst training programs?
I understand it's a month or so, but where are these held and when do they usually start? And would all new FT analysts train there? Eg would HK/SG/AU analysts come to the same one as the NYC/London analysts?
Thanks
Can’t speak to anything outside of the US unfortunately, but if it’s a BB, usually they will bring in just one or two regional analysts in to nyc (ie Houston, Chicago), but leave their California teams to train in their respective locations. They don’t fly foreign teams to nyc to train.
GS flies London analysts to NYC for training. Deutsche used to do training in London for NYC analysts but not sure that's still the case. @op, generally programs are 6 weeks of Excel, corporate finance, fictional group projects, and studying for your series exam
For those of you who trained in nyc, did aussie/HK/SG bankers join you?
