Transfer from CS in NYC to CS in SFO?
Does anyone have any idea how difficult it would be to transfer from NYC to SFO office at CS as a new Associate starting in Summer 2007?

the sf office is very small compared to ny and has few needs for associates. people who did their summer have 1st priority obviously, and they hire only 2-3 associates for the 2007 class....did you work at cs in NY? what's your background?
i also think that the SF office is done hiring, so will be tough to make the move. good luck
would it still be a very slim chance to transfer to SF office then? i didn't do my internship as CS.
but it wouldn't be possible after rotation program...have to be hired directly into the office
does transfer get easier over time? Gosh, I just can't imagine myself living in NYC. it's so cold there :(...
