Truist FIG
I saw that Truist recently made some big hires from BofA and CS to run their fig group. Can anyone provide any additional color on the group?

Career Resources
They’re trying their best to become a BB. Firm seems pretty determined to do so (I have a bias as I like southern culture more).
Tbh I’m really interested to see how Truist turns out in the next few years
Fried food, pickup trucks, and backstabbing two-faced people hiding under the guise of “southern hospitality” are barely a culture
At least it’s covered over some hospitality. People in the North are just assholes
Truist sucks. Don’t be deceived
Hello disgruntled Truist employee
Which begs the question why do so many Truist employees get disgruntled
A shell of a group if anything. They are missing a lot of key verticals and have minimal analyst coverage (and even less mid level) across the board.
Who have they hired from BofA and CS?
Jerry Wiant from BofA and Chris Sanger from CS.
Bump
Anyone know how the group has evolved/anything change since Wiant took the helm?
still sucks
still sucks, group is dead
Sanger just left…
Where is he headed? Truist was his 3rd stop in 5 years.
