Truist TMT vs Canaccord TMMIS
Which one has better deal flow, exit ops, culture, etc…
Have the option to go to both (nyc based), but not sure how to make my decision.

Cg for sure.
How so?
Wouldn’t the Truist name have more weight? (I’m aware it’s not THAT much, but it should be something more than cg, no?)
the tech team constantly pitches (does execution but minimally); the culture comment from the other person is spot on — their culture sucks and is exacerbated by the bad hours; knew someone who worked on the nyc team. on the other side, Cg is far better about mentorship and work on a greater breath of deals.
Don't work at Truist TMT, really bad culture (Not mentoring). MDs are never in the office, no deal flow, no motion, people sitting around on their phones ( Avoid at all costs )
If there’s no deal flow then why are they hiring more analysts?
New CEO, trying to grow their brand. Not worth it imo
Trash vs Garbage
