UBS Graduate Talent Program
Does anyone know well about UBS Graduate Talent Program?
I will be interning for UBS IBD this summer, and find out that Graduate Talent Program is the best you can get out of from the internship.
So my wonders are:
1. Graduate Talent Program differ from direct-hiring?
2. Is Graduate Talent Program FT?
3. Are there diffs in salary, treatment, bonus?
Welcome any insight or opinion on this, bc I couldn't really find info on the program.
I believe it’s the analyst program. everyone who interns and gets a FT offer will be joining the GTP
GTP program lasts for 18-24 months, so basically it is different from a month analyst training that most FTs have after joining firms. Wonder why they have such program...
so all incoming analysts aren’t in the GTP?
You direct to a wrong way. All UBS 1st year analysts join as the GTP (full-time), but what this program is really about? The website said "In rare cases, participants may be expected to conduct their own internal job search while enrolled in the program." This phrase confuses me.
If you've done summer program in ibd, mainly M&A, are there chances you are positioned to different department during GTP period? What about stipends? Are u going to receive the same amount as a FT analyst, or do they treat you as a trainee with partial amount of salary?
I haven’t heard of anyone getting placed in a different division, maybe group (TMT-> HC). your offer will state which division you will be joining. salary is still $85k
Are u an incoming analyst at UBS? Btw thanks for the clarification. I just wonder how the program is run.
UBS Talent is quite the oxymoron.
