UBS LEVFIN group

Was offered position at UBS’s leverage finance group. Was wondering how good they are? From what I can tell, they’re decent (not the greatest group at the firm, but a solid one). Currently an A1 at a similar type bank, but in a decent/bad group.

They are usually the top group at UBS, not sure where you read differently unless those people wanted coverage specifically.  UBS as a whole is very sponsor driven, similar to CS and Jeff, so vast majority of work is sponsor-LBOs, refis, acq financings. Can't comment on exits, just don't know enough about that.

There was a good thread on levfin groups across the street recently: https://www.wallstreetoasis.com/forums/levfin-league-tables#comment-248…
