UBS Online Assessment
Fellow candidates, I am conducting a survey on the likelihood that I will get dinged. Please don't hestitate to share your inductive and numerical reasoning tests.
My results:
Inductive: 20 completed / 20 correct
Numerical: 11 completedd / 9 correct
29/30, 18/18.
Prima facie your numerical test scores are very low, might be enough to take you out of contention.
Your score report should clarify where you stand relatively speaking (much easier, slightly more difficult etc.).
Literally same success rate as your scores. And none of those questions indicate a top bucket analyst it’s basic math lmao
I’m not flexing, some people got into the low 50s for inductive.
It’s barely maths at all, but 9/18 almost must be below the cutoff (otherwise how low could it be) which is what he’s really asking about.
26/26, 12/13
Wouldn't read too much into direct numbers. Ideally you want extremely fast in everything from your feedback report.
They don’t matter, they pre select candidates anyways
Could you elaborate?
50/50 inductive 18/18 numerical
Have you had your IQ tested? Just curious because 50 is cracked, and a lot of IQ tests r basically just harder versions of that test.
Nope, never had it tested and I don't think I'm ultra smart lol
I practiced a ton on job test prep and the tests were much much harder (mirroring/rotations etc). My friend did the test before me and he told me roughly the kind of questions that he got ( he said that it was much more basic than jtp) so I kinda knew what to look out for
I also play a ton of chess so these kind of tests (especially the grid ones) are designed for me to excel in a way
.
Has to be cv then right?
Did they look at our CVs pre-VI? I didn’t think they would have.
Maybe some AI screening since the OA was auto.
Must be CV but then again I got Evercore HV so not sure what rationale is behind it all, even did spring weeks in IB and summer internships too
I remember taking this test for NYC but never got score released, is that a EU only thing?
16/18 Numerical, 49/54 inductive, rejected without invitation to HV, had previous internships in Corp Fin, HF, Consulting and a Spring at a BB
How long did it take people to hear back?
15/16 Numerical, 37/38 Inductive, everything marked as Extremely Fast, Extremely Accurate and Much Easier in the report. Got dinged.
My friend scored 34/35 on Inductive, got the Verbal test instead of Numerical, told me he answered a lot of questions randomly, scored 5/13. He got the HireVue invite.
This is strange lmao. I don’t know how they pre-select people
My scores were worse than that. I got 25/28 for inductive reasoning and 13/16 for numerical reasoning, and also got the HV yesterday evening (I’m looking to do a target masters in 2025 btw). It’s because I did well in the culture match test (SJT)
You can have perfect scores on numerical and inductive tests, but if you don’t pass culture match (SJT) you’ll get dinged regardless of your cv
Clown world🤡
