Avoid UBS tech like the plague. Tech group (as well as M&T) is not on a good trajectory and new seniors (brought in after exodus to SVB and other places in 2021) are mostly incompetent for bringing in revenue. You will be pitching all day and closing 0 deals until they all get fired and new guys are brought in. Haven't heard the greatest things about Citi SF either, but I'd imagine it has to be better than UBS. I would honestly shop these offers for any other good banks still recruiting. Do you need to be to be in SF? Worst case if you can't get anything else I would take Citi SF. Then try to internally transfer to their NYC office
