UChicago - better economics and better placement in high finance. It’ll be a grind for 4 years but worth it
UChicago and it’s not even close
Pick UChicago and don’t look back.
Midwest schools:
Grouping IU in with Notre Dame is crazy work
Curious what your ranking looks like.
Notre dame most overrated school of all time and I still agree with this
UChicago
Thank you all! Hopefully not all fun @ UChicago dies!
WashU if you want to challenge yourself for fighting an uphill battle:)
Washu is pretty ass for banking but does well in consulting. Additionally, it’s not rly a well known school, and UChicago is better on quite literally every single front (however is a bit harder academically, but that shouldn’t deter you)
Rage bait
I went to UChicago. It's not hard academically anymore, especially if you major in bus econ. Go with Chicago.
uchicago is the easy call on pure recruiting outcomes. it's a tier 1 school for this, and washu doesn't show up on the target lists banks are actually working from, since alumni presence on the street is much thinner.
the part nobody's brought up is the athlete piece. IB recruiting starts sophomore year now and eats a huge amount of time before you've even landed an internship, stacked on top of a full course load. add football and that's a lot to carry at once. worth being honest with yourself about whether you actually want both, separate from which school wins on paper.
banking specifically, uchicago's the shorter path. still deciding, washu keeps olin open, just a longer route to the same place.
