UK IB Target Unis

I have offers from Warwick for Accounting and Finance, as well as Bath for Economics, Would either of these courses suffice to break into IB, if so which would give me a higher chance because I am aware Warwick has a better reputation for IB, but Economics is the more reputable course

Based on the most helpful WSO content, Warwick is widely regarded as a stronger target school for investment banking in the UK compared to Bath. Warwick's reputation, particularly for Accounting and Finance, is well-established in the IB recruiting space, and it is often mentioned alongside other top target schools like LSE, Oxbridge, and Imperial.

While Economics is a strong and reputable course, the university's brand and alumni network play a significant role in IB recruitment. Warwick's Accounting and Finance program would likely give you a higher chance of breaking into IB due to its target school status and strong placement record for spring weeks and summer internships.

In summary: - Warwick (Accounting and Finance): Better for IB due to Warwick's target school status and strong alumni network in the industry. - Bath (Economics): A solid option, but Bath is not as strong a target for IB as Warwick.

If your primary goal is to break into IB, Warwick's Accounting and Finance program would be the better choice.
