UK MM Rankings
What's the current rankings for MM firms in London I.e Gleacher / RJ / Torch etc. particularly curious about Torch as there doesn't seem to be much coverage on them.
Comp / Prestige / Lateral opps all welcome.

Career Resources
Raymond James and Harris Williams pay amongst the highest in London
Baird, Blair (Healthcare very strong in particular), Lincoln (growing aggressively) , DC Advisory also very active in the MM space.
how much does HW pay in london
HL
Definitely the fastest growing MM at the moment, absolutely everywhere on deals in the £100-250m range.
I’d definitely put HL in a different league than the rest.
Some random considerations: Gleacher has that very British posh vibe which some just cannot stand. Torch is too focused on tech which at the moment is not great. Lincoln is good in debt advisory and continental Europe, less so in UK.
Torch does a lot of deals within internet infrastructure as well, which is still going strong
what would you attribute the strength to
The fall in tech right now is because investors aren’t looking to throw money at big bets that aren’t profitable anymore
Internet infrastructure (Data-centres, Fibre, etc) is brick and mortar and provides reliable cash flows.
If you look at Torch’s past deals, a big chuck of their work, particularly in M&A, is infrastructure
