I agree, on balance it's pretty representative except for Warwick.
Big selection bias. Every student’s wet dream at LSE is banking, whilst mostly only econ/business students do at other universities.
Now you have the causal problem of whether people go to LSE because its a good target, or if LSE is deemed to place well because of self-selection bias.
You've made a mistake on Warwick by only using people with WBS on their LinkedIn rather than just Uni of Warwick. Just checked for JPM. That's why Warwick is so low on here.

Ngl that's a terrible methodology, that could literally be any role, which explains some of your data.
If people from a "low-semi" tend to target MO/BO roles, they're going to look very "targeted" here compared to others who have an affinity for FO roles.
This is highly inaccurate as it looks like you did not filter properly through LinkedIn. Just looking at people with "Investment Banking" in their title (so analysts, associates, VPs...etc) at JP Morgan in London, the LSE only has 48. You do not want to extend your search beyond London because a LOT of foreign students do the LSE's summer programs and then have it on their LinkedIn which inflates the school's placement to the point that the numbers you're getting are no longer significant
I’m just wondering, based on your research, at the Masters level do you think it’ll make more sense to take a Cass Business School - Msc Finance offer or Warwick Business School - MSc Business & Finance if ultimate goal is IBD/AM?

This is so inaccurate. Half the people that are in banking put "Warwick business school" as their university. I can assure you one thing, there are probably more than 150 people currently working at JPM/MS/GS who are from warwick

No - these simply do not place (well) for front office. Sure you with have this 1 diversity or really well connected candidate that will make it but it's not enough to make it semi-targets.
