Under The Radar Bouiques

Is AEC Advisors really known for paying extremely high comp? Are there any other boutiques that are also known for this?

I feel like being at a high performing boutique like this would be great even if they payed normal street comp. Was wondering for some firms that might fly under the radar over more “prestigious” EBs and such.

Really just asking about any boutiques that only people within the industry would know. Not quite there yet so wouldent really know.

under the radar boutiques can be really hit or miss. If they pay well, the hours are going to be miserable though. Many pay you just below street for signficant improvements in wlb though. bank street is one example

Yes, they pay top of street, but it may not continue forever. They’re a fairly small team of ~25 people and are closing deal after deal right now in a red hot industry. It is accurate that analyst 1 is ~$230K and associate 3 can reach $575K, but we’ll see how sustainable it is. They’ve been doing very well and kudos to them but will be interesting as they scale.
