I'm an incoming freshman at a non-target (U of T). I'm thinking of transferring for my 2nd year but also I'm considering just finishing my 4 years here then eventually get an MBA. I want to get into IB.

Get GPA as close to 4.0 as possible. Retake standardized tests required for college, and get those as high as possible then transfer. MBA is obviously a fantastic option, but why wait 8-9 years (which is how long it would take for you to get into an M7 from now) when you could transfer to a target?
