Us analysts are losers

The ideal life that we would have as an analyst would be to work hard, play hard, right?

You’re a superstar analyst at work, people respect you, you’re able to really add value even though you work long hours still.

In return, you ask your weekends to be respected and play hard, living the hot shot life, working out, clubbing, whatever. A satisfying dopamine release basically

In reality you’re treated like garbage and will slave away every hour of the day. I can’t tell you how many times I had to cut dates short, cancel stuff on weekends etc because some paranoid VP needs to another iteration of the same data cut — just from a different angle

basically as an analyst, impossible to really live up that life…unless I’ve been missing a secret?
