Using estimated gpa

So I want to use an estimated gpa when sending resumes to elite boutiques and bulge bracket banks, as my actual gpa right now is not super super competitive.

Do banks ask for unofficial transcripts during the application? Or just a resume? Or do they ask for unnoticeable transfeipts before/after the super day?

I want to make sure I’m honest here lol

Based on the most helpful WSO content, banks typically ask for unofficial transcripts at some point during the recruiting process. While some may only request a resume initially, it is common for them to require transcripts either before or after the super day to verify the information provided on your application.

If you choose to use an estimated GPA, ensure it is clearly labeled as such (e.g., "Estimated GPA") to maintain honesty and transparency. Misrepresenting your GPA can lead to serious consequences if discovered during the verification process. It's always better to be upfront and avoid any potential issues later on.
