Washu for chicago ib.

Incoming freshmen going for Chicago only.

-I know NU, Uchi, ND, and Michigan get interviews and places in every Chicago office but is that the case with Washu as well?

-I will do diversity even though it's def a reach ngl.

-I don't see too many Washu kids in Chicago, I'd assume a big part of that is self-selection.

-Washu is a target for gugg so would it be a target for gugg Chicago?

-Lastly, I've had a construction job for the last year and plan on continuing working in construction in St Louis, should I leave this on my resume? I'm going for industrials. My family is mostly in construction as well.

1. yes, lately washu been in the conversation with the other 4.

2. self selection, few kids from washu go for chicago ib and in my time Ive never met anyone who went for chicago and didnt end up atleast at an mm bank like lincoln or soloman.

3. diversity will help a lot and will most likely open pretty much every oppurtunity in chicago, including groups like GS industrials.

4. Absolutely keep the job on your resume, my md would give you an interview in a second if he saw a kid in a construction job, especially from washu.

5. Yes gugg does ocr and you'd probably get a supreday to the chicago office pretty easily.

washu student we know this is you dawg. But yes with diversity and washu any placement in chicago is there for the taking. The construction job will probably gurantee you pretty much every interview you want because damn every md would love that.

bro got recognized. But yeah as another washu student, the top comment is completly right. You're in a very good situation and should be set really for any bank in chicago just make sure you're technicals are on point and you already seem like a nice kid and that construction job on you're resume will be brought up in every conversation.
