If everyone on the street thinks the amount of emails this year is bad, I'm sure it will get worse in future cycles. Instead of both sides having to grind through tens if not hundreds of chats, why not just keep coffee chats...over coffee? I feel like the banking recruiting has lost that personal aspect since the pandemic, and would love to see real in-person interaction make a resurgence again.
