wearing watch to interview

I actually have a final interview with a firm coming up and was wondering whether to wear my Tudor black bay. it’s a preowned watch that I got for a good deal, but I’m not sure if it’s something I should bring as a student. it’s a black dial with a black rubber strap

No one will care, if you are super concerned it’s always better to be safe than sorry. Yes some random people might be jealous (not worth it to worry about this), but most people don’t care or won’t notice.

Usually stuff like this is only an issue if you are wearing something ridiculous (not expensive, just ridiculous in how it looks) and the firm is relatively conservative.

Dude a tudor is not a flex do not worry. If anything I would see it as someone who is working their way up to a better watch over time and starting w a tudor. I wear a Longines and my senior guys are serious watch guys (jaeger, vacheron, patek) and appreciated that I 1) liked watches and 2) was wearing one which was appropriate for my age (they're like 2 - 2.5k max for most models) but not a timex or casio (please no one mention that GS's CEO or some other influential figure wore one as that clearly doesn't apply to a watch enthusiast)
