Wells Fargo Announces 100k An1 Base

While it was on here before in an unofficial capacity, Wells has begun informing analysts and associates of their raises. An1 bumps 85k to 100k with raises for all analysts and associates similar to other banks that raised An1 to 100k. This raise is also retroactive to July 1. The bank started informing some capital markets teams (levfin) this morning on a 9:30am call. It was not clear whether CRE, corporate banking, or S&T would be included.

I would guess it does NOT include CB or CRE or S&T. They were very careful about saying "investment banking analyst" rather than CIB etc. Also, corporate banking was not invited to the coverage group calls despite them sharing the same development officers and sitting next to each other.

It is also worth noting that other banks did not include groups outside of investment banking in their base raises.
