Probably none. Last I heard their HC group is terrible and barely has the MDs to even go out there and get deals

You have better odds finding a leprechaun than a closed WF HC deal

Yeah, its not a good group and they're not really looking to invest in it all that much rn/weren't investing in it even during their expansion phase

What the above poster mentioned. There is no senior talent in the group, and it doesn't seem to be a priority.

Also, as the person mentioned above, the quality at the junior level is also poor (and this can be said about many groups at Wells)... so any solid MD that comes will be frustrated with the performance of the Analysts and Associates. I have a buddy there and his time is just spent researching companies and helping with pitches, and he doesn't mind that because its a solid salary and very low effort which can be a dream for some. If you have any other BB offer or solid MM (Blair, Baird, HW, Lincoln, etc), take that one

I can attest to this comment; I interned at WF healthcare group a few summers ago and can say that the senior bankers do not win mandates and are terrible. There was one in SF who recently moved to Barclays that was the best in the group. The same goes for the junior bankers as well, and they had high turnover/people leaving the group for better opportunties.

Going to be an incoming analyst at WF healthcare, how would you recommend going about the lateral process? Looking to leave ASAP since my experience this summer was not the best (low deal flow, not very technical, not focused on M&A).
