Wells Fargo Houston
Haven't seen any info on this since 2018. Curious as to how Wells is doing in Houston. Do they run power/renewable deals out of their Houston office? Obviously it doesn't hold a candle to Jeff/Citi/EVR but is it truly that poor of dealflow/pay?
There’s worse places to be in houston. Adjusted for COL pay can’t be terrible.
not getting solid looks from PE from WF for most juniors unless ridiculous connections
I'm pretty sold on living in Houston, don't really see myself living in NYC, maybe just traveling for work. Thus, I wouldn't likely be gunning for MF or anything of the kind, just MM or LMM in Texas, potentially a smaller HF or ending back up in commodities trading. Just wanted to get a feel for how WF is relative to other firms.

bump
Houston is likely a sweaty place to do IB, mostly o&g / energy
Yeah that's what I want to focus on. Best chance of breaking in b/c im in crude trading this summer. Could always lateral internally to another location.
