WF Energy and Power

What is Wells Fargo energy and power like (hours, culture, is it O&G or renewables etc)? I had a Superday for Charlotte and they want to know if I’m interested in Houston for Energy and Power.

This would be for corporate banking. Thanks!

There's a couple WF Energy Groups.

The Renewable Energy groups are Power, Utilities, Renewables under John Hackney in Charlotte. This is the general coverage group.

Then there's Renewable Energy Asset Finance under Alok Garg in NYC. This is Project Finance and debt lending mostly.

And finally, there's Renewable Energy & Enviornmental Finance under Phil Hopkins. This is Tax Equity financing and Tax Credit transferability. This group is like 50 people split between SF, Charlotte, NYC, Minneapolis.

The Oil & Gas group is in Houston. Don't know much about them.

Thank you! The recruiter said that it would be the group in Houston. Does Wells Fargo have anything other than oil and gas in Houston or is all of power and energy in Houston oil and gas?

Of the renewable energy groups, which has the best exits? I imagine it’s coverage but could be tax equity? Would think project finance would be lowest right? Truly have no idea
