WFH has ruined banking (?)

Context: "Only" in my 8th month at a large MM bank.

Title says it all. This isn't what I signed up for. No sign of going into the office ever again, either.

Can someone more experienced speak on whether or not WFH has made banking (IN GENERAL) better or worse? It's nice to sit in my undies and build a CIM from my parents' basement, but it also completely sucks to sit in my undies and build a CIM from my parents' basement. I haven't seen the light of day in weeks (or another human besides my 55 year old father), I am chained to my desk until 1am in case an email comes in before that point, I don't have time to work out, and I feel the life being sucked out of my body and into the void around me. I've thought that being in the office might alleviate some of the misery, but not sure if being around my MDs would be more stressful or less stressful. Considering leaving to do something entrepreneurial. Thoughts? Advice? Very risk tolerant.
