What are some non-buyside careers post a two year analyst stint?

So I'm completely fed up with banking. Can't wait for my second year to end.
Coverage for growth tech companies has to be the worst job in terms of developing a skill set. Limited to no M&A experience, tons of mundane repetitive equity offerings and a whole lot of creating sector landscapes to show clients as potential buyside targets (no modeling involved).

I do not want to do Tech. I just can't figure out what to do next. What jobs are out there, where are my skills relevant? Feels like I haven't learned anything here. All we do are general qualification and intro books and capital market updates. I did learn the entire IPO / Follow-on process and can explain it in my sleep and a ton of industry research for for specific industry verticals (in an industry I am not interested in).

Need help in compiling a list of potential opportunities so I can learn about it and search for openings.

Any help is appreciated.

Are you fed up with banking in general or just fed up with your position at your firm? It sounds like it's more firm related than banking related for you.

If I were you I'd lateral to a senior (2nd or 3rd year) analyst role, or even an associate level role at a different bank that does more than what yours does, or covers a different industries, etc.

If you're looking for finance related gigs but not buyside and not IB, you could do Consulting and corporate finance.

make it hard to spot the general by working like a soldier

You could cold call doing growth equity or vc ... sourcing deals for the big guys. Consider doing ECM [banking light] or perhaps rule the world [Restaurants, Media, Fashion or Sports] once people bow down to your banking experience.

/sarcasm aside man ... just use it as a stepping stone towards whatever your 'next move' might be. As a guy in your early 20s your limitations aren't as limiting as a guy in your 30s and beyond.

You've been doing an excellent job and getting fed up at what you're doing (aka you're qualified and under satisfied). Why not lateral to something that gives you a great deal of interest? I mean, did you really want to do Tech or you did you do it because many people on this forum/your peers wanted Tech as well?

Personal example: I've had my working endeavors that gave back to the world (healthcare) and my guilty pleasures of other work (running a heavy metal record label).

Explore those interests you've been guilty about before, maybe they were too risky in the past, but with your financial/business prowess now, you could be more efficient and profitable... Food for thought...
