Don't forget your pen in your padfolio because the Associate will preface the technical question with "you're gonna want to take out a pen for this one" then you helplessly stumble around trying to calculate the answer in your head while he stares at you like you're a total fuckin idiot, then you should be good. Got dinged for screwing up a technical question on tax impact in my first PE interview. The guy on the other phone line was just like "Yeah buddy, that won´t work, call me back when you got some notches on your belt". It really do be like that sometime
