Dinan isn't an investment bank lmao
Then what is it? Are you dumb boy?
Business brokers, or whatever the fuck you call LLLLLLLMM bucket shops that cold call $200k EBITDA businesses all day for PE portolio company add-ons. I have never seen them actually make real materials or do any analysis.
Can you guys take this irrelevant Southwest US garbage that no one cares about over to Reddit and make me some tacos or something? thx
Found the analyst at Dinan
I work in PE lol

BGL
Have heard their Chicago office has been better
I can’t believe I’m chiming in to add color on fucking Dinan, but I have seen a sellside mandate or two from them. But yes, they’re primarily a buyside shop. You can retain them for searches to try to find something off-market.
But I think the real answer to this thread that someone just posted is BGL. Never heard a single positive thing about the jr experience there.
I worked at BGL this summer and liked it. The Cleveland office sounds miserable, but as far as Chicago goes, the VPs that propped up the sweaty culture (at least according to an alum who used to work there I talked with) were fired and there's a new HR team (no more suzanne). Most analysts were working from home by like 6 or 7pm.
Oh my god yeah cause you're just SOOOO much better than them right?
