The guy I spoke with has has a Penn and GS background and a few others from top targets or schools like HBS. They considered lateral hires in the past that are less pedigreed as not everyone is from a target. Some are former Drexel Burham Lambert, Lehman and Bear Stearns folks as well as other top banks. You will learn a lot for sure. Semi well known but fairly respected in the media and consumer sector from what I’ve heard and some education. Majority of the deal flow came from that but not too sure what they are up to nowadays. Its been a while since I spoke to any of them. Hope thats helpful!
