This is not a table of contents, more what I try to take away for new names. Not an exhaustive list, but rather a quick filter.

- A clear understanding of the business model and its key drivers

- The competitive "moat" - where / how the company is positioned in the broader industry, competitive dynamics / key competitors. Really why the company "wins" and if that's a sustainable advantage

- The upside opportunity / blue sky - in order of near, medium and long term growth catalysts with obvious focus on the near term. Where is growth / profitability going to come from, whether new markets/products, more wallet share etc. What does that translate to in terms of revenue/profitability/cash flow, how much is it going to cost and what does the company need to get there

- Historical financial statements for context

- Management team built for purpose - if its a group that can sustain the status quo and execute on the upside

That's my quick filter
