What does "E&O expense" mean?
Stupid question... but do you guys know what "E&O expense" mean please? There aren't footnotes in this document I have... it is part of COGS but not sure what exactly it is (google search shows some non-sensical results such as "errors and omissions") Thank you!
It means excess and obsolescent. It is used as an expense for inventory deemed as such i.e. inventory that will not likely be used must be expensed or the estimated lost value from its resale price must be.
