What else to break in

Assuming a strong resume, strong technical skills, and fierce/effective networking from a target school What else do you need to do? I know going to recruiting sessions is helpful but is there really anything else prior to the interview process? This is coming from a nondiversity first year already with two internships for this winter and summer…also a varsity athlete.

Just wanted to give context to my situation and what I should do in the future to at least be aware of the process.

Echo leadership roles from above. Also, be unique, be sociable, be a human. Anyone who describes their networking as "fierce" sounds like a robot. Make good connections, read people well (i.e., some may want to talk about football and others want to talk about the markets...try and figure that out). 

Tailor your questions to the individual. And have a really unique "Why you should hire me" story...strong resume, academics, and club involvement is all box checking. Once the boxes are checked you need to differentiate
