What happens if you fail FINRA?

As titled... I come from a semi-target, and although my GPA was decent, I was never a great test taker. I'm worried as I'll be on the desk running from day one as a lateral, and I'm not confident if I can study and pass within 120 days while also working 80+ hours a week.

What would happen if you don't pass the FINRA exams?

Dependent on the firm.

FINRA will let you retake the exam as many times as you want after waiting a certain amount of time.

Most firms will give you at least two attempts, after that not too sure. I would guess three shots and you are out.

I wouldn’t stress though, if you study they are fairly easy exams
