What is RX like in Europe?
Title basically says it all. Do IBs in Europe have designated RX teams? If so, are the teams divided into countries due to different bankruptcy laws or does that not matter? Just in general, how are European IBs organizing their RX practices?
Pretty much all the EBs do have RX, in most cases done separately (EVR, HL, Lazard, Rotschild, PWP) and in some cases your analyst role is generalist (PJT, MoCo, GHL). At the junior level there is not necessarily a country coverage as teams tend to be quite small, but seniors are often focused/experts on 1-2 jurisdictions.
