What options do I have for IB FT based on background?

Basically, I'm interested in getting into IB FT, and I'm in my final internship, at a T2 turnaround consulting firm (Ankura, BRG etc). Non-target but with extremely strong academics (3.9+), plenty of involvement etc etc. Do I have a chance at all of getting a FT IB gig (RX or traditional), and if so how can I best position myself for it? Or would it be easier to spend 1-2 yrs in turnaround consulting and lateral into IB/PE? Or am I cooked in general?

Kinda out of options, so would appreciate any insight.
