I am trying to lateral from a middle office-like role and am weighing options about how to maximize impact while networking, and also show my competence and ability for the job.
I was thinking of building an LBO and M&A merger model from scratch and using that, though I wasn't sure if that would be very impressive. Would appreciate if anyone here can recommend something that is likely to help me.
