What To Do When You Could Not Understand Your Interviewer's Name on the Phone

The title captures it all. When my interviewer introduced himself on the phone I could not understand his name. I believe that repeating his name during the interview is important so he knows you remember it, but what would you do if you could not understand it. Also, how will you know who to reach out to to thank?

Thanks for the help

You probably should've asked at some point, "sorry, I didn't quite catch your name.." or something along those lines. Nothing you can really do to send out a thank you note now. You can try to contact someone you know at the bank and try explaining the situation to them, and hope that they might be able to find out who interviewed you. I wouldn't really worry about it though.
